We have a free and democratic society, but each year, political parties rake in approximately $30 million from the Vote Tax. The current annual allowance, adjusted for inflation, is $2.004 per valid vote ($1.75 x 1.145). This annual allowance is paid in quarterly installments. The Vote Tax is "in addition to" the 60% of election expenses candidates is reimbursed and the 50% of election expenses parties are reimbursed after an election, courtesy of you and me. Then there’s the charitable tax credits given to political parties far in excess of legitimate charities according the Canadian Taxpayer Federation. We pay, they party.

"The Bill of Choices will make our government more transparent and effective. Our government will let taxpayers choose where their money will go, by setting up accounts for different government departments.

For example, there will be social security account for elderly and economically challenged people; health account for hospital services, and education account for school and training, a transportation account for roads and bridges, as well as a defense account for military. Every quarter the government departments will have the mandate to publish a report telling taxpayers how much money they used and how it was allocated. Additionally, the report will estimate how much money the government will need for the following quarter and for which departments, however the taxpayers will deposit their money wherever they consider more important. There can be a pending account for overflowing funds from other accounts or for someone who has no choices. Our vote system is democracy but the mainstream media is controlled by money. Our tax is controlled by politicians who work for money. Our social development index is GDP (money). We are controlled by money and powerless. Everybody shall use tax system to involve in government decision making process. Our society will use The Happy Planet Index (HPI) to measure the environmental efficiency and social development.
