The bill of Choices is a concept design to reform the 800 years old political system.

Step by step, you and me will work together for a general design and a construction design. Then you and me will build and benefit from a new transparent and effective political system together.

    Bill of Choices

The Bill of Choices will make our government more transparent and effective. Our government will let taxpayers choose where their money will go, by setting up accounts for different government departments. For example, there will be social security account for elderly and economically challenged people; health account for hospital services, and education account for school and training, a transportation account for road and bridges, as well as a defense account for military. Every quarter the government departments will have a mandate to publish a report telling taxpayers that how much money they used and where it was allocated to. Additionally, the report will indicate how much they will need for the following quarter and where, so taxpayers will deposit their money where ever they think it is important for them.

It's not tax, It's choices. If you agree with this bill, please forward to your friends and MPs of The House of Commons of Canada. Thank you.

    Yours truly,

    Feng Gao

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Mission Statement and Core Values

        Mission Statement

The impetus for the Bill of choices is excessive government spending and taxation. Our mission is to attract and mobilize our individual citizens to actively involve public policies consistent with our two core values of Fiscal Responsibility and Return the power to individual citizen.

        Core Values

        *Fiscal Responsibility

*Return the power to individual citizen

Fiscal Responsibility: Fiscal Responsibility by our government should honor and respect the freedom of the individual to allocate their tax money that is the fruit of their own labor. Our government will let taxpayers choose where their money will go, by setting up accounts for different government departments.

Return the power to individual citizen : A free market is the economic consequence of personal liberty. After election, our politics have monopoly power to spend our tax money without consulting any taxpayer. Therefore, we support the free market principles on turning taxable income into choices for the taxpayer. Every quarter the government departments will have a mandate to publish a report telling taxpayers that how much money they used and where it was allocated to. Additionally, the report will indicate how much they will need for the following quarter and where, so taxpayers will deposit their money where ever they think it is important for them. We also support the personal liberty of the individual, within the rule of law.

        Our Philosophy
A leader is best when people barely know he exists, however not so good when people obey and acclaim him, worst when they despise him. But of a good leader, who talks little, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say, 'We did this ourselves.'

    • Passing the matchstick - Bill of Choices, you and me will make a better world like dry grasslands will regenerate into beautiful forests after large grass fires.
      • Bill of Choices - the matchstick empowers you and me!
        • 星星之火, 可以燎原. We are small matchsticks and powerless as individuals. However, we have neglected our lands too long and our forests become dry grasslands. After matchsticks starting grass fires beautiful forests will regenerate from our lands.

    • Ottawa's stimulus had little impact on recovery, Fraser Institute says. Our government give our tax to bankers and their contributors.
本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛OTTAWA— A prominent think-tank says Canadian government stimulus packages had little to do with last year’s economic recovery, crediting private investment and increased exports for the rebound.

The Fraser Institute says spending packages by both federal and provincial governments had a minimal impact on last year’s improvement in Canada’s gross domestic product, the key measure of economic strength.

The Vancouver-based group, which is an advocate of free-market economic policies, released a report saying stimulus measures contributed just 0.2 per cent to GDP growth between the second quarter and third quarter of 2009.

In contrast, official statistics indicate the economy grew by 1.1 per cent over the same period.

The report says government spending and investment contributed nothing at all to the one per cent improvement recorded between the third quarter and fourth quarter.

The report was compiled by analysing Statistics Canada data on the economic impact of government spending and investment as well as private sector activity.

The institute says its findings are not surprising considering Ottawa earmarked 40 per cent of its stimulus funds for infrastructure projects, which take time to implement.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
      • Our political system is based on a practice that began nearly 800 years ago in England, of the rick, for the rich and by the rich.
Magna Carta and the Principle of Free Elections

Although the Canadian electoral system is governed by laws passed by the federal Parliament and the legislature of each province, it is based on a practice that began nearly 800 years ago in England. In 1215, the Magna Carta stated that the King no longer had the right to summon his own advisors to sit in what is now called the House of Commons. Instead, he had to issue what today are called writs of election, and to summon to the House only those people who, according to the returned writs, won the most votes in elections held in each district. That principle of free elections first established in the Magna Carta was brought by the British to Canada, where federal and provincial elections today are still organized around the “dropping” and return of separate writs of election for each district.
